JACK'S PAINT VOTED BEST - AGAIN

Jack's Paint operates 60 owner-run stores and franchises across the country on a business model founded on good, old-fashioned customer service and the strength of family values.  At the stores the owners and their staff are very passionate about what they do and how they do it as far as their customers are concerned.  Martin Cohen, group CEO of Jack's Paint visits as many stores as possible everyday, encourages an open door policy and personally deals with every customer complaint.  "My cellphone is on 24 hours a day - and anyone from the staff to the customers can call me.  We have no hierarchy within this organisation; there are no egos involved and everybody is treated with the same respect.  Our customers are not just numbers to us.  I believe in old-school customer values and want that to come through when we deal with our customers," says Cohen.

The Your Choice supplement published in November 2009 gave readers who participated the opportunity to vote for their favourite business or establishment.  There were three main categories, namely Best Service and Shopping, Best Food, Drink and Entertainment as well as the best places and things.
