Statement Wall

If you bought a really rich, bold colour to transform some furniture, you don’t have to toss it when you’re done. This colour can then be used to create an accent wall in your home. Choose a wall that is sitting stagnant and bring it to life with this bold colour. Backtracking to our first stencilling idea, consider painting a beautiful stencil on the wall to really make a statement. You can also get more creative and paint a mural, like this gorgeous one below! Great for leftover white paint when done against a ‘not-white’ wall.

The same goes for floating shelves… create a contrast on your wall by installing some floating shelves with a bit of hardware and then get painting! This works especially well when you have some brightly coloured paint leftover.

Now that you have some ideas for your leftover paint, it’s time to be creative. Paint patterns, use different colours on different parts of the furniture pieces – the sky’s the limit! If you need some paint advice regarding your adventures, simply contact your nearest Jack’s Paint & Hardware store.
